A proper Salcombe pub at the heart of town, The Fortescue Inn is Grade II listed and full of character. Step in from Union Street and find a relaxed bar made for easy get-togethers, a quick post-beach drink, or an unhurried glass of wine.
Expect Westcountry cask ales, crisp lagers, classic ciders, a thoughtful wine list, and a strong showing of local gins and rums. Ask the team for today’s guest taps or a simple house serve if you’d rather keep things easy.
Sport, done properly
There’s a separate Sports Bar with four big screens, plus a screen in the beer garden. We show the major fixtures on Sky Sports and TNT, and can split screens when there’s more than one game on.
From first coffee to last orders
Open from morning through late, the bar works for a quiet coffee, a mid-day pause, and an evening round with friends.
Dog friendly
Dogs are welcome throughout the pub and in the beer garden. You’ll find water bowls and a few treats at the ready.
